UP CM Yogi inaugurates, lays foundation stone of 186 development projects worth Rs 570 crore in Pratapgarh district

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that today the people of Pratapgarh district are getting the gift of various development projects worth Rs 570 crore. Through the ‘One District One Product’ scheme, Amla and Amla products of Pratapgarh district are reaching the country and the world today. The construction work of the medical college here in the name of Shri Sonelal Patel has been completed. About 42 km of the country’s longest expressway, Ganga Expressway, is passing through Pratapgarh, which will give special impetus to the development here. The 6-lane highway being built between Ayodhya and Prayagraj will prove to be a milestone in the development of the district.

The Chief Minister was addressing a public meeting organised on this occasion after inaugurating and laying the foundation stone of 186 development projects worth Rs 570 crore in Pratapgarh district on 29 August. These development projects include the inauguration of 116 projects worth more than Rs 263 crore and the foundation stone laying of 70 projects worth about Rs 306 crore. The Chief Minister handed over symbolic keys of houses to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) and Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana (Rural), symbolic cheque of revolving fund amount to women members of self-help groups of National Rural Livelihood Mission, Ayushman Card under Ayushman Bharat Yojana, symbolic keys of tractors to farmers and loan sanction letters to beneficiaries of ODOP Yojana, Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarojgar Yojana, Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan and laptops to children under Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana.

The Chief Minister said that Pratapgarh district is famous for its mythological and historical tradition. The farmers here are working to increase the health of the people by giving a new identity to the cultivation of Amla. May the blessings of Maa Belha Devi remain on the people of the district. The work of tourism development of Maa Belha Devi temple is in progress. The people of the district are seen committed to walk hand in hand with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in the process of development.

The double engine government under the leadership of Prime Minister is eliminating the culture of mafia, goons and riots and taking forward innovative schemes like ‘One District One Product’, ‘One District One Medical College’, of which Pratapgarh is a unique example. Pratapgarh is famous for amla and rasmalai. To honour the hard work of local artisans, Prime Minister has given us the concept of ‘Vocal for Local’, so that the country’s money goes into the hands of our artisans, handicraftsmen etc. This will make the country prosperous and also create employment.

The Chief Minister said that during the tenure of previous governments, Uttar Pradesh was affected by mafias, criminals and rioters. But in the last 08 years, the same Uttar Pradesh is mafia free, riot free, free from hooliganism. Daughters and traders are safe. The safety of every daughter and trader is our responsibility. Through various schemes like ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’, ‘Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana’, ‘Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana’, ‘Mukhyamantri Samuh Vivaah Yojana’, the double engine government is working with commitment for the safety, respect and self-reliance of daughters. More than 12,000 daughters have been successful in the recently completed police recruitment of more than 60,200. Daughters of Pratapgarh are also included in these. Appointment letters have been given to 2,425 main sevikas selected under the fair and transparent recruitment process in the Women Welfare and Child Development Department. Destitute women, elderly and disabled people are being given the benefit of pension without discrimination.

In the last 11 years, under the leadership of the Prime Minister, there has been a positive change in the country. Every village, poor, women, youth, deprived and various sections of the society are getting the benefit of the government schemes without any discrimination. The result of the schemes is that today the level of satisfaction has increased.
