A special ‘havan’ and ‘bhandara’ will be organised on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on 17 September at Ghumanheda, Najafgarh of Matiala assembly constituency, informed the organiser Rao Satvir Singh.
He further informed that to make the birthday programme a grand celebration, all our colleagues in the assembly constituency held a meeting on Sunday and made a strategy so that the programme could be done in a better way. He said that in this special havan organised by the temple committee, the havan and worship programmes will be conducted with rituals and chanting of mantras by acharyas and pandits.
Mr Singh added that more than 8,000 devotees are expected to attend the programme. During the programme, special honour will also be given to the women and elderly of the area. This honour is for those people who have made a significant contribution to the society and inspired the people with their services. He said that the yagna (havan) will be performed by special Acharyas for the long life of the Prime Minister and the progress of the country and arrangements for ‘prasad’ will be made for all the devotees present there. He further appealed to the people to participate in the programme and give their blessings for the long life of the Prime Minister and the prosperity of the country.
